You join Gina and Shazza at their table. "My name is Amy Green. I've already met Gina and Shazza, but don't believe I've met the other two of you."
Cardboard and duct tape armor girl says, "My name is Lina Lomelia, and I am the protagonist of this story."
You ask, "Of what story?"
"Think about it. The very definition of sentience is the ability to understand stories. Why should it be that so many different species from different universes think in terms of stories unless we're all living in a story?"
You're not sure how to argue against that, so you say, "Even if so, what makes you think that you're the protagonist?"
"Because I am the mo
You say, "Fine. You win. I'll accept your terms."
Kasumi nods. "Glad I could make you see reason."
Kasumi's arrogance is still grating. But Shannon doesn't seem desperate to be freed. And as Charity told you, if she really does want out, she'll probably be able to free herself.
You arrive in class and sit down. There is a pile of shiny red and purple rocks on a table in the front of the room, but no sign of a professor. Maybe the rocks are for a demonstration and the professor is late?
As it is time for class to begin, the pile of rocks starts moving. You hear a pleasant voice that sounds as if it is coming from inside of your head.
You say, "Let's get started on it now."
Shannon and Gina find this agreeable. Shannon brought contracts with her, and she, you, and Gina all sign, since you didn't have time to do this before class. You head back to the dorms to pick up a camera from your room. Gina asks if she can have a copy of the video, as she wants to use this for hypnosis class homework, and Shannon promises to deliver a copy.

Gina looks nervous. "How about if you submit first, and then we can discuss it
Her dilated eyes engrossed by the flickering LED, Susan patted her head, rubbed her stomach and recited the names of the Presidents.
Heather giggled. "Mom's being silly!"
"No, honey," Doug smirked. "Mommy's being hypnotized. She has to do as I say."
"Don't fill our daughter's head with that nonsense," Susan snapped. "There's no way this junk you bought off the Internet works."
"Hop on one foot," he commanded.
"Face it Doug," she said, getting up. "You paid fifty bucks for a black box with a blinking light." She started hopping. "You got ripped off."
Heather clapped, squealing with laughter.
"For crying out loud,
How could they screw this up? Two finals at the same time? Do I seriously have to decide which class I'm going to fail? No, no screw that! I put too much work, too much STRESS, and pulled WAY too many all-nighters in ALL my classes to make a decision like that. I am going to e-mail my teachers about this!
*TIK TAK TIK TAK TAK!*
"Kyarulya?" Lia, my Kirlia, voices her concern.
"In a minute." I feign calmness. I was hitting the keys a little harder than I meant to.
"Kyaru...?" Lia timidly paws at my skirt.
"This is important." I continue typing. "I need to iron out this schedule conflict with my professors before it's too late."

Kaa the python sat in a tree still finishing the digestion off his latest meal. Once again he could tell the humans of the town were scrambling trying to figure out where the missing people were disappearing to. This led to investigators coming into the woods to search for clues, this was bad news for Kaa. If they found him in the tree, he knew they would quickly suspect a giant snake was the cause.
